Informed Consent Policy

Queeva Publishing requires that all research involving human subjects obtains appropriate informed consent before participation. Authors must clearly state within their manuscript whether informed consent was acquired and include details as follows:

  • Written Consent: For all identifiable human data—including interviews, photos, videos, or case details—authors must obtain written consent from participants. Consent forms must confirm understanding of the purpose, risks, and right to withdraw.
  • Ethics Approval: If consent was obtained as part of institutional ethics approval, this must be indicated along with the ethics committee name and approval number.
  • Consent Waiver: If written consent was not required (e.g. anonymized data, public dataset), authors must provide justification based on local or international ethical guidelines.
  • Minors and Vulnerable Populations: For participants under 18 or belonging to vulnerable groups, consent must be obtained from a legal guardian or authorized representative.
  • Retrospective Studies: Authors conducting retrospective studies must explain how consent or ethical exemptions were handled in accordance with institutional policies.
